Our Approach and Beliefs
We believe that every child deserves an education that respects their differences, empowers their strengths, and supports their growth in a safe and encouraging environment. At ConnectED Learning, we are committed to unlocking confidence and achievement by connecting with each student as a whole person, not just a learner.
At ConnectED Learning, we're more than just tutoring. Yes, academic progress is the outcome however the heart of our work lies in relationships. We believe that meaningful connection is the foundation for meaningful learning.
Every child is unique, and so is their journey. A one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn't work. That's why at ConnectED Learning, we take the time to understand each child as an individual; their interests, their challenges, their personality, and their needs in any given moment. Even within a single session, we adapt and respond to how your child is feeling and what they need to thrive.
This flexibility, combined with a strong, trust-based relationship, is what makes us different. We don't just tutor; we connect the dots of who your child is to create a personalised learning experience that they genuinely enjoy and look forward to.

Why ConnectED Learning was founded
ConnectED Learning was created out of a personal love and passion for children who don't always fit the mould of mainstream education but deserve to be understood and educated in order to reach their potential, achieve their passions and fulfil their dreams.
"With over 20 years of experience in education including various leadership roles and working as a Headteacher; my most powerful inspiration has come from the incredible relationships I've built with pupils, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). These children have left a lasting impact on me, showing the true power of connection, compassion, and tailored support.
It was these experiences that led me to take the leap and establish ConnectED Learning - a space where children who often feel like they don't belong can finally be seen, heard, and understood. I am fiercely passionate about helping these young people thrive, not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.
What sets ConnectED Learning apart is not just my professional background, but also my personal journey. As a parent of a child with ADHD and Autism, I understand firsthand the struggles families face, the battles within the education system, the constant need to advocate, and the emotional toll it can take. I bring not only educational expertise but also empathy, understanding, and lived experience to every family I work with."

Expertise Rooted in Experience and Collaboration
At ConnectED Learning, the specialised support is built upon a profound foundation of both practical experience and collaborative understanding.
ConnectED Learning was founded by former headteacher Hannah Clark, whose passion for supporting SEND pupils and their families has shaped the organisation’s vision. During her time as Headteacher, Hannah gained experience as a SENCO, working closely with children with SEN and their families to ensure they received the support they needed.
In response to the increasing SEND needs within the school, Hannah established a dedicated specialist class for children with Autism and led the development of bespoke, personalised curriculums. These were carefully designed to meet individual pupil needs by aligning EHCPs with professional advice.
Additionally, during Hannah's time as headteacher, she led the school in gaining Trauma-Informed Accreditation, developing a whole-school knowledge, culture, and ethos around supporting children with attachment and trauma difficulties.
Her passion for supporting SEND learners has encouraged her to gain further accredited qualifications, including earning 'Distinctions' in:
- a Pathological Demand Avoidance Diploma (Level 3),
- an Advanced Autism Awareness Diploma (Level 4),
- a Special Educational Needs and Disability Diploma (Level 3).
In addition Hannah holds a:
- BA (Hons) with QTS in Primary Education 2:1
- Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead Certificate
- Enhanced DBS
This SEN expertise sets ConnectED Learning apart by providing truly tailored support and a deep understanding of a wide range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), dyslexia, dyscalculia, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs that often impact on school attendance and learning.
Furthermore, at ConnectED Learning, we recognise that comprehensive support requires a holistic view. We already work in partnership with other professionals including Play Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Sensory Integration Practitioners to ensure our personalised learning strategies are integrated and effective across all aspects of your child’s development and well-being. Together, we create a strong multi-disciplinary team around the child, supporting consistency and progress across home, education, and community environments.
More recently, Hannah has begun a Master’s in Education (MEd) in SEND & Inclusion and is currently completing the Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing, Assessment and Access Arrangements. As part of this training, Hannah will be able to assess children using the WRIT and WIAT-III, as well as other key psychometric tests.
